- 1 cup whole wheat orzo (6 oz weighed dry)
- 2 cloves garlic (minced)
- 2 cups fat free chicken broth (or vegetable broth if making vegetarian)
- 4 oz. spinach (fresh chopped)
- 1.5 oz. freshly grated Parmesan (I use the smallest holed side of my box grater to shred)
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- 1/2 tsp. Italian seasoning
- freshly ground black pepper (A sprinkling of, to taste)

Really good and we enjoyed it, I added oregano as I didn't have the Italian seasoning and went heavy on black pepper!
