- 1 large egg (if small, use two)
- 3 cups tomato sauce (see recipe below -- or, use your favorite tomato sauce)
- 3 lasagna sheets (fresh)
- grana (padana, grated for topping)

- 6 cloves garlic
- 8 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 28 oz. plum tomatoes (whole, packed only in tomato juice)
