- 1 Tbsp. water
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup sake
- 1/2 cup mirin
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1 cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 cup water
- 1 Tbsp. honey
- 1 cup apple (sliced into matchsticks, about 1 apple)
- 1 cup carrot (sliced into matchsticks, about 2 carrots)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- inches ginger
- Tbsp. salt (or Queso Fresco Cheese, crumbled)
- Tbsp. olive oil (to taste)
