- 2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes
- 4 cloves garlic (chopped)
- 2 inches ginger root (peeled and cut into very thin matchsticks or grated)
- 1/2 lb. shiitake mushroom caps (sliced, a couple of cups)
- 1 bok choy (medium, trimmed and cut into 3-inch pieces, then cut sticks lengthwise)

- 1 qt. chicken broth
- 1 cup seafood stock
- 1 cup clam juice
- 1 1/2 lb. medium peeled and deveined shrimp
- 1/2 lb. vermicelli (thin spaghetti)
- 4 scallions
- 3 inches thin sticks
- 10 shrimp (thawed, peeled, deveined, chopped)
- 15 shiitake mushrooms (stemmed and finely chopped)
- 3 scallions (white and light green parts only, finely chopped)
- 1/2 red pepper (chopped)
- 1 1/2 cups napa cabbage (shredded and finely chopped)
- 3 Tbsp. lite soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic (chopped)

- 1 Tbsp. canola oil
- 15 wonton wrappers
