I didn't follow the recipe exactly in terms of amounts (I added a lot more pepper flakes, and just eye-balled everything else). I substituted the sausage for ground turkey, and the heavy cream for a wholemilk/butter mixture. The first time I made this I used cream cheese instead. Both were good. I also left the turkey in the pot the whole time instead of removing before adding onions/etc.

Turned out great! Love making soup and it is a good use of ground sausage and kale they go very well together

I had never made soup before, and this was harder to time out than I expected, but that was my own fault for not prepping anything (I’m a beginner cook). The final product turned out great, despite my lack of experience. I did make a few adjustments for my own personal tastes (skipped the crushed red pepper and the parsley, used 2 russet potatoes and no sweet potato), but I’m sure the original recipe is just as good!

Loved it! Used salted broth and andouille sausage. Removed sausage casing and browned. Turned out great!

Absolutely delicious! I added more broth to thin it out a bit. I used half and half instead of heavy cream, since that is what I had on hand. Great spicy flavor
