- 1 small onion (chopped)

- 2 carrots (cut into matchsticks)
- 1 red bell pepper (chopped into 1/2” pieces)
- 2 cups cabbage (thinly sliced)
- 1 cup cocktail peanuts (may sub other peanuts)
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 Tbsp. reduced sodium soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. oyster sauce
- 2 Tbsp. rice wine (Japanese, may sub dry sherry)
- 1 Tbsp. hoisin sauce (Lee Kum Kee or Kikkoman)
- 1 Tbsp. Asian sweet chili sauce (like Mae Ploy)
- 2 sriracha hot chili sauce (tablepsoons)
- 1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch

This is a great dish! Not "spicy" spicy but this recipe is flavorful and has some heat to it; I'll definitely make it again! If you want a little extra heat, definitely use 2 tablespoons of sriracha and add red pepper flakes. I'd add a picture but I ate it before I could 😋

Fantastic! Great flavour. This is a great recipe to learn and gather the ingredients for so you can make variations of it based on what you have on hand in the future. It did take much more prep and cooking time than the recipe estimates though.

Lots of flavor and color for minimum effort - highly recommend! I purposely undercooked the noodles and included a green pepper. Will definitely add this to the regular rotation.

The flavors were amazing! I think next time I would double the chicken broth and pasta water to increase the volume of broth. I didn’t have any cabbage but I didn’t really miss it. I used chili paste instead of sriracha, and I only used 1 Tbsp.
