- 4 potatoes (same size)
- vegetable oil (for frying)
- 2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- 1 Tbsp. sweet paprika (smoked)
- 1/2 Tbsp. ground pepper (fresh, I used a mix of 4 peppers)
- 1 tsp. chilli (powdered)
- 1/4 tsp. seeds (chilli, dried)
- 1 can whole peeled tomatoes
- 1 garlic clove (or 1 tsp garlic paste)
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 stem fresh basil
- salt
- pepper
- 1 tsp. sugar (if needed)

Directions
- Start by cleaning the potatoes very throughly since you’ll be leaving the skin on.
- In a pot boil the potatoes until cooked all the way through and let them cool on a strainer.
- While you’re boiling the potatoes you can work on your marinara sauce.
