02-26-2021 made with 10 oz of kidney beans, 1 tsp cumin, .5tsp of chili powder and smoked paprika. Left all other ingredients as measurements. Very sticky so important to freeze before cooking. Dried out the beans in the oven for 10 min. Great tasting , quick and easy to put together. Prefer the taste of SBA

Delicious!! Crispy, hearty (my husband won’t let me say “meaty” of meat is not involved, but you get the idea), and very pretty tasty. Super easy to make too! I wanted extra heat and added jalapeño to the patties. Served with spinach, onion plus the recommended avocado and chipotle mayo. My only (minor) complaint is that the recipe divides into 4 patties, but called for mini-buns (essentially sliders). Had to cut patties in half; two buns for my husband and one open faced for me. Next time I’ll make 8 slider sized patties.

This is my go to for black bean burgers. I always make a double batch as they freeze beautifully!
