- 2 cans pork and beans (drained, always check the labels for sneaky gluten)
- 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onion (OR 1 T. Grated Onion, you’ll get the flavor without the bits)
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 pinch allspice
- paprika (Pinch of Smoky, like Spanish Paprika, optional, but you’re missing out big time if you don’t give it try.)
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (Packed)
- 2 tsp. mustard (Spicy, my favorite is the horseradish kind)
- 2 Tbsp. honey
- 2 Tbsp. molasses
- 1/2 tsp. granulated garlic (but garlic powder will work in a pinch)
- 1 Tbsp. tapioca starch
