Delicious! Make it every time. I sauté 1 garlic clove, minced with onion and rice and add 1 tsp of salt instead of using garlic salt. Hint: follow directions as stated for perfect rice.

Just what I was looking for! My friend taught me how to make this a while back but I couldn’t quite remember exactly till I found this! I was too lazy to chop up onion so I used onion powder and didn’t have garlic salt so I used garlic powder. Still tasted great! I cooked it for 20 minutes tho since that is what I know for cooking rice. I’ve didn’t want to risk it being undercooked. It was not soggy and very flavorful. Great for burrito bowls! Yum!

This Spanish Rice is the bomb! Only thing I did different was that I used vegetable broth instead of plain water. Excellent!!!

Delicious! But I used low sodium veggie stick instead of water. I think it would be bland without it. The texture was perfect - moist but not wet at all

My husband says it’s the best Spanish rice he’s ever had and he’s grown up in SoCal. I’ll try adding peas, corn and carrots and switch the tomato sauce with some canned diced tomatoes with liquid. It was missing a little something I thought but was okay

i used a little less water than recipe called for, used garlic powder instead of garlic salt so i added salt and pepper. it was ahit with my family, but a little too "sticky". might reduce water even more next time and add in some chopped pepper.

This recipe was super simple, and very very very delicious! I cooked and seasoned according to the recipe except added a chicken bouillon, the rice was tender and flavorful. I will never make another Spanish rice! This one is perfection.

Very good! I added a little extra oregano and it was delicious. Keep an eye on your rice as I accidentally burned the first batch and had to start over.

Rice came out so good. I used chicken broth instead of water. My family loved the taste!

Very good!
I did not have tomato sauce so I used a 6oz can of tomato paste and added 2 more ounces of water to it to make it 8oz.
I also added Cayenne pepper to it as I like a little heat in my spanish rice.
I also added some red and green chopped peppers.
My ? is if you brown the rice with the oil how does it turn white again?
That seems like it has to be a MISPRINT in the recipe.
No way it turns white again and I in no way over browned it.
Also It took longer than 15 minutes to cook completely.
More like 20-25 minutes.
I believe too much water is required in this recipe and I would cut the water next time.
BUT I would make this again.
I did not believe that with these spices it would taste like real spanish rice but YES it does and it is delicious.
Much more tomatoey than it should be but I like it like that.

This was so yummy! 😋 I’m not a big fan of cumin, but it works for me in this recipe. I’ll definitely be making this again. Thanks for the great recipe! 😁

This was very easy to make and the taste was very good. I also added some fried Kielbasa with it to make it a meal. My daughter added mozzarella cheese on hers. It was just a great meal for everyone.
