- 1 cup white wine (Sauvignon Blanc works well but red can be used)
- 6 oz. tomato paste
- 1 cup beef stock
- 1/4 cup half and half (fat-free works)
- 8 fresh basil leaves
- 2 lb. spaghetti (boiled in salted water until al dente, see notes)
- grated Parmesan cheese (Freshly, for serving)
