    Similar to what my grandpa always made when we were growing up. I'd recommend a bit more milk as this turns out fairly thick (and for God's sake use whole milk). As always, sausage gravy calls for ample amounts of pepper.

    Simple and delicious. Would definitely recommend this for a brunch! we added quite a bit more cream, it really thickened up. We will be making this many times to come!

    Easy beginner friendly and fast! I use pre made biscuits and bake them while I do the gravy. Very filling. Don’t skimp on the pepper.

    Never fail awesome gravy!

    Turned out perfect. Easy to make. I used The regular Jimmy Dean sausage and added a little bit of slap your mama along with the standard salt and pepper. Fed 4 adults with a little left over. If it thickens up too much just add a little milk and you’re back in business.

    We all enjoyed this hearty breakfast dish for supper tonight. It really warmed a very cool, rainy evening. I doubled the gravy ... Seasoned with the salt and pepper, then added in a little Creole Seasoning, ground thyme, smoked paprika, sage and onion powder to finish the flavor profile out. Served this with homemade hot chocolate.

    very good. ive made this recipe twice so far and both times consistently good. i think atvthe end of cook time, i may add a wee bit more milk becsuse it really thickens.
