- 1/4 cup butter (slightly melted but not hot)
- 1/2 cup cane syrup (Alaga Original)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream (cold)
- 3/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp. ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp. ground nutmeg
- 1 pinch ground cloves
- 3 cups flour (all-purpouse)
- 1 tsp. kosher salt
- 3/4 cup unsalted butter (1 1/2 sticks very cold)
- 1/3 cup vegetable shortening (Crisco, very cold)
- 8 Tbsp. ice water (plus more if dough is too thick)
- 1/4 cup whipping cream (for brushing on edges of the crust)
- 8 oz. cream cheese (1 whole package softened)
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
- 1/4 cup Alaga Syrup (Light)
- 2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 2 cups chopped pecans (roughly)
- 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter
- 2 Tbsp. cane syrup (Alaga Original)
- 1 Tbsp. brown sugar (light or dark)
- 1 pinch salt
