my southern style green beans, was lilke toney the tiger says, were Great!!!!!!. l prepared 36 ozs, and devired the all.

Absolutely delicious and easy. I use Better than Chicken base and after several times of doing the recipe as directed this last time, I added mushrooms as well because I needed to use them.

Great, I actually boiled the green beans first, cooked the beacon then pulled the beans from the water and tossed with the beacon grease. Then I slowly poured the chicken broth over them and slimmed for 30 min.

Added fresh garlic and only 2 slices of bacon and 1 cup broth turned out excellent

Was so easy, this was just like my great grandmother used to make. Used an instant pot instead with saute and then high pressure for 35 minutes and it turned out perfectly.
