Amazing. Added worchestershire and bay leaf. Didn’t want to open a whole bottle of port for just 1/2 cup used in the recipe, so any darker, heavier red wine would do fine. I used a pinot once and a red blend once then drank the remainder of the bottle. Very nice easy recipe for entertaining.
