    Fantastic. I use whole wheat flour, add some ground flax seed and wheat germ, use more honey than whole sugar, chopped walnuts in about everything I bake and finally for extra sweetener and nutrition, I use ripe medium size banana. It’s a family favorite.

    I made a batch of these delicious cookies as a Christmas gift and now I'm going to go stock up on molasses so that I can make many more batches. For myself. Perfect cookies for keeping warm with a mug of tea. And if you can bear to part with them, a great homemade holiday gift. Easy to prepare and even easier to eat
