I used butter instead of coconut oil and doubled it and I also used a tablespoon of vanilla. I added about 1 tablespoon extra of almond flour, and I usually press down the cookies that are made with almond flour, though, because they do not tend to spread. It was definitely necessary. I think the extra fat was the right choice. The flavor was great, not too sweet. I do not like mega sweet things, so it was great. Will make again. May have to double the recipe. 2 dozen cookies won't last long in my household!

can tell not regular chocolate chip cookies not as sweet as i would have liked maybe i didn't put enough maple syrup in batter but will try again

These were great! very soft....they do have a subtle coconut oil flavor, but overall, a great healthier alternative to a typical chocolate chip cookie!
