Very good, but found the broth needed a bit more oomph, so I added some paprika & chili powder. I also added whatever extra veggies I had in the fridge to use up & did it on the stove top (not slow cooker). Will definitely make it again.

I make this, but I use frozen soup veggies, 1 can of tom sauce, 4 cups of beef broth, plus garlic, etc and a cup or 2 of water. I add about a T. of Worcestershire sauce. After it cooks for 15 to 20 mins, I add 2 small handfuls of bite sized cabbage, just enough to add flavor. I use elbow macaroni, but was out, so I opened a box of Kraft Mac & cheese, and added about 1/3 cup of the tiny macaroni. My husband really enjoyed it!

This recipe is a keeper. I add extra veggies and I make the noodles on the side as they tend to get soggy in he soup. It’s a wonderful soup on a cold New England day!

Yum! Fast, easy, family friendly meal that we served with warm fresh dinner rolls. We will make it again on these upcoming cold winter days.

Simple, easy to make and the pot was clean. I served it with Irish soda bread! Very comforting.
