Wow— very tomato-laden. I do like the idea of using smoked sausage in chili— but I’ll brown it first next time. And I will change the base. My poor husband— the heavy tomato content gave him the kind of heartburn that had had him in bed the next day. I ate a lot of the leftovers but will adapt the next time.
