Went well - tasty but not enough for 6! In fact shared it between 2 but had 375g fish.

European recipes are always interesting to me. Not sure where you get smoked haddock without just smoking it yourself...so just used regular. made with 3 decent sized filets (cubed). next time will use 4 to fully top of the dish. also don't forget to season the fish before adding it...the recipe doesnt call for that. i also made with broccoli AND califlower as that is what I had on hand. Things i added for extra flavor (the original recipe sounded very bland): smoked paprika (instead of regular), sauteed onion atop the cooked veggies, and weber brand zesty lemon seasoning atop the whole dish, good ole american Panko, lots of extra pepper and a little salt. Served with a side of cornbread.

i replaced the cream with the milk i used for poaching the frozen smoked haddock fillets. replaced gruyère with cheddar. whole family loved it.

Very good indeed. Will certainly try it again with various fish. It would certainly suit Monkfish or Halibut Steaks.
