- 25 grams caster sugar (/1oz)
- 10 potatoes (King Edward, peeled and cut into 2 or 3 pieces, depending on size)
- 50 grams beef dripping (/1¾oz, lard or vegetable oil)
- 500 grams parsnips (/1lb 2oz ,peeled and cut into quarters lengthways)
- 4 Tbsp. sherry
- 4 Tbsp. clear honey
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 50 grams unsalted butter (/1¾oz)
- 1 savoy cabbage (thick veins removed, shredded)
