- 2 1/2 lb. beef boneless chuck steak
- 2 Tbsp. olive oil
- 1 onions (medium, sliced)
- 1 clove garlic (finely chopped)
- 1 jar ragu pasta sauce (1 lb 8 oz., Old World Style®, or Ragu® Organic Traditional Pasta Sauce)
- 8 oz. shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions
- Season steak, if desired, with 1 tsp. salt and 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper.
- Heat 1 Tbsp. olive oil over medium-high heat in a 12-inch nonstick skillet,and brown steak in two batches. Turn into 4-1/2-quart slow cooker sprayed with nonstick cooking spray.
- Heat remaining 1 Tbsp. olive oil over medium-high heat and cook onion, stirring occasionally, 4 minutes or until golden. Add garlic and cook, stirring frequently, 30 seconds. Add Ragu® Organic Traditional Pasta Sauce and bring to a boil over high heat, scraping brown bits from bottom of pan. Spoon sauce mixture over steak.
- Cover and cook on HIGH 4 to 6 hours or on LOW 8 to 10 hours or until steak is tender. Stir in cheese. Serve, if desired, over hot cooked pasta.

Would definitely make again. I added mushrooms for the last hour. Took 2.5 hours.

I just made this recipe tonight for dinner. It was super easy, simple, and delicious! I did it over I think Rigetti noodles? Highly recommend it.
