- olive oil
- 1 lb. carrots (peeled and cut into large chunks)
- 2 lb. potatoes (peeled and cut into large chunks)
- 1 onion (peeled and cut into large chunks)
- 2 stalks celery (cut into large chunks, optional)
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 Tbsp. corn starch
- seasoning mix
- 2 Tbsp. steak seasoning (mine is store-bought and has a blend of peppercorns, garlic, paprika, parsley and salt)
- 1 Tbsp. kosher salt
- 1 Tbsp. dried thyme
- 1 Tbsp. dried rosemary

This was good and easy. Be mindful of how much salt is in your steak seasoning. You may want/need to reduce the added salt. I highly recommend using some of that beef broth to deglaze the pan after sautéing the vegetables and adding that all to the pot.

Excellent! Definitely the best way to do a roast in the crockpot. Gravy was very good too.

Delicious! With the beef broth and the Montreal Steak Seasoning I used, it didn't need any extra salt. Will definitely make again!

Everything came out perfectly. The vegetables were great, and the roast just fell apart. The sauce really made it amazing at the end! No modifications, but I used large baby carrots vs cutting my own. We used 'Grillmates Smokey Montreal Steak Seasoning' and coated every side of the roast.

It turned out to be awesome. My family loved it. Definitely it will melt in your mouth with combined with perfect seasoning
