  • 2 1/2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
  • 1 pound Velveeta (cut into 1/2-inch cubes)
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup butter (cut into small pieces)

    Directions

    1. Combine ingredients in slow cooker sprayed with cooking spray; cover with lid.
    2. Cook on LOW 2-1/2 to 3 hours (or on HIGH 1-1/2 to 2 hours).
    3. Turn slow cooker off. Stir macaroni and cheese; let stand, covered, 15 min. before serving.

    This was very easy and very quick. It only took 1 hour on high slow cook setting in my instant pot. I altered the cheese around some; 12 oz of velveeta and 1.5 cups of sharp cheedar. So cheesy and good!!

    Easy and delicious. I omitted the water and added a brick of Cracker Barrel sharp cheddar. It was a complete hit.

    I think the recipe uses too much milk and/or not enough cheese, as it was still pretty watery at 2 hours cooking on high, and not cheesy enough for me. It took about 4 hours.

    Loved this. So easy to prepare and so creamy. Recipe said to cook on low for between 2-1/2 to 3 hours. It was perfect at 2 hours, 45 minutes.
