Turned out excellent!! From now on I will make turkey only in the slow cooker. Roasting a turkey in the oven looks pretty but there’s no guarantee it will be moist. Plus, in my experience leftovers from a roasted turkey always have that funky unpleasant taste the next day. I end up throwing it out. The slow cooker method eliminated this problem. (I did add 3 Tbs white vinegar to make sure that funky leftover taste would be gone) This is a great recipe. Although next time I will reduce the amount of salt and onion powder. I got a whole turkey on sale and carved the breast out. I’m not a fan of dark meat, but I threw in some into the pot along with the breast and it tasted good too.
