Definitely needs 6 hours. I used my Ninja on Slow cook setting Hi for 4 hrs and still needed to Pressure it for 5 more minutes. As for the taste it's under seasoned if you follow the directions. I added 1 1/2 chicken broth at the Pressure step and that takes some of the bite out.
