- 5 lb. boneless pork shoulder (we think this is the best cut of meat to use)
- 1 Tbsp. smoked paprika
- 1 Tbsp. onion powder
- 1 Tbsp. garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp. salt
- 1 tsp. black pepper
- 2 tsp. liquid smoke
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 12 oz. cherry cola
- 1 cup bbq sauce (Sweet Baby Ray or homemade bbq sauce)
- Worcestershire sauce
- apple cider vinegar (only a little or it could overpower!)
- red onion (or yellow onion)
- mustard powder
- soy sauce
- tomato paste
- 4 lb. pork shoulder (4-5 pounds will work!)
