This is really good, tho I mashed the potatoes way too much so its more mashed potatoes then soup lol Did a few other mods
- seasoned the potatoes with seasoning salt, pepper and garlic when they went in.
- Added copped up celery to cook with potatoes/onion
- Ended up steaming broccoli at the end to mix in
- added a lot more cheese like 2 1/2 cups
- Next time would def add more stock and would not mashed potatoes as much

This is awesome. One modification for me, adding minced garlic. Made it perfect!

My daughters loved it! They always request it and this recipe is really easy and tastes delicious. I used bacon grease the second time I made it and it definitely makes a difference. We liked it better with the bacon grease but my one daughter liked it better with butter. We make it at least once a month and I like that it’s a simple base recipe and you can add other ingredients or spices if you need to.

Very good recipe and I also added chopped celery and oregano to this recipe too. Yum in a bowl!

Pretty tasty. Had some difficulty making a roux for the first time so ended up a little thicker, and didn’t want to keep adding stock to where it tasted like chicken. Either way, tasted great! Added garlic powder and parsley for more flavor

Maybe I used to much onion. Good but I cut up carrots and celery and added which was a game changer! Also some oregano and basil.

My family loved it. They felt that I should of had more bacon and not used the Greek yogurt. Stay with the sour cream.

It was delicious! My whole family enjoyed it! I did add carrots and used cream instead of evaporated milk.

It turned out so good!! I highly recommend this I added a pepper and onion mix instead of just onions and I loved it.

Yum!! I used chicken broth instead of chicken stock (it’s what I had on hand) and it came out very flavorful. Will need to try next time the stock to compare flavors. Otherwise it was a hit with my family!

Fabulous on first day. Thickness of mashed potatoes as left overs. Still tastes yummy!

A little disappointed overall. Lacked flavor to me. I added a bunch of my own spices/flavors to try to help it out. This is more of a base recipe in my opinion. Of course, it all depends on whether or not you’re used to seasonings/spices in your food. Would make again since the base was good, but definitely with modifications.

It turned out great. I used two tablespoons of butter and two tablespoons bacon grease.

It turned out delicious. Couple things though: 1) Prep time didnt take no ten minutes between slicing the onion, the bacon cooking, and the potatoes. Maybe if you had precooked bacon and precut onions, then maybe. 2) I added basil and oregano. Otherwise it was a bit bland as if missing something. Adding those two seasonings was perfect. Otherwise we loved it and may have had plenty for leftovers. :)

Very yummy! You could modify it but I didn’t and I don’t think I would next time I make it.
