We made this in the Instant Pot (pressure cook high for 4 minutes) because I found this recipe too late for the cold cooker. 1 T turmeric sounded too bitter so we used 2 tsp and upped the cumin & cinnamon to 1 tsp each. Should’ve used 2 tsp because it came out bland. Maybe should have subbed done broth for water. It was also runny because so used 5 c water so next time I’d use less liquid. Our daughter added raisins to make her serving sweeter. If slow cooking you may want to add the cauliflower halfway through; it disintegrated in the Instant Pot.
