- 6 slices bacon (¼ cup reserved if desired for topping)
- 2 Tbsp. bacon grease (optional)
- 2 Tbsp. cornstarch

this soup is so tasty and easy to make I served in fresh baked bread bowls. My family cant wait for me to make it again

this was very good soup...it was very flavorful and my family loved it.

Very good. Good job I cut back on the amount of thyme. If I had used the amount called for it would’ve been terrible. Would probably add more cornstarch as we like it a wee bit thicker. But overall it was very good.

So delicious! Will definitely make again! The ingredients on Yummly VS. The actual site did differ a bit though. 4 cans of clams not 1, 3 cloves of garlic not 2, etc.
