I used 1.45 kg boneless shoulder roast. I didn't have any plain honey, so I used maple honey. I also added a couple splashes of liquid smoke. Cooked in my slow cooker on low for 8 hours. Decided it needed alittle heat, added a couple of good squeazes of sriratcha sauce Extremely tasty!!
This is one of this dishes that get better sitting in the fridge, After a day in the fridge it is FABULOUS!! Next time I will use a hot mustard (Edmond Fallot tarragon Dijon) instead of sriracha to give it heat, but keep the mustardy taste and colour.
