- 28 oz. fire-roasted diced tomatoes (regular will do too)
- 16 oz. salsa (your favorite)
- 12 oz. green chiles
- tomatoes
- 15 oz. kidney beans (or pink, drained and rinsed well)
- 15 oz. black beans (drained and rinsed well)
- 4 cups chicken stock
- 1 tsp. cumin
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. black pepper
- 1 pinch red pepper flakes (optional)
- 1 1/2 cups pasta (uncooked small shaped, I like ditalini pasta for this)
- sharp cheddar cheese (to serve with soup, optional)
