It turned out really well, for how much honey it calls for, it doesn't show. I added a tiny bit of Worcestershire and Sriracha because I thought the dish would be sweet. A small tip I recommend, after shredding the chicken, cut the green onion and stir that into the dish before cooking for 30 more minutes. It softens the green onion and keeps it's flavor. 😁

My husband and I really enjoyed this recipe. They only thing I changed was adding a little onion powder instead of onions and cooked for 5 hours. I do agree that it has a little more of a teriyaki taste then sesame, but it has a lot of flavor so we liked that. Will definitely be Adding to the dinner rotation.

I really couldn't taste the honey at all, and I had to cook an additional 30 minutes. Not a bad recipe but doesn't taste how you would expect a honey sesame chicken to taste. It tasted more like terriyaki chicken to me.
