It was ok. The meat was dry and it really didn’t have a flavor. When I tried to pull the chips out everything crumbled so I pretty much ended up with mashed apples and bits of pork chops I had to serve with a spoon.

Pork chops were dry and apples got mushed tastes like dry pork chops with applesauce 😢

It wasn’t too bad! It needs some sort of spice to it but all in all the pork was sooo tender and the apples tasted so good with the pork. I used Honeycrisp apples instead and it was just as tasty. I want to try it again and experiment with some spices next time.....,if it’s any good I’ll share the results. Aloha~

In fairness, I added too much cinnamon... That's the only reason I can think it was so.... freaking... dry. I thought if I increased the honey it would even out, but alas it did not. I was so disappointed after it smelled so good all day! The weird part was the directions say to serve "topped with apples" but they had completely cooked down to the point where you can't tell what was pork and what was apples.

not a fan. there was no flavor added to the meat and just gobs of cinnamon sat on top of the meat. wont be making this again.

Tender. Apples turned to applesauce, could be because I used honey crisp apples. Flavorable❤️

This turned out great! The only thing I will do differently next time is leave the apples in bigger chunks. The thin slices turned to mush by the time the pork was cooked.

Quite delicious!! Not too sweet and the cinnamon was the perfect addition. If you layer the pork chops, be certain to coat each layer with cinnamon.

No one liked this. We threw away 4 lbs of meat >.< and that's really all I have to say. It was awful.

Good recipe. Didn't alter it came out juices, tender and delicious. Would be good on a cold winter day to warm a person up.

There's a lot to like about this recipe, but it's awfully bland. Add some garlic salt and red pepper flake, maybe some onion. Another tip: I paired this with some curry couscous and it matched wonderfully.

Such an easy and basic way to make pork chops. The flavor was amazing for only using a few ingredients. I would say that two apples was not enough for 3-4 pounds of chops. Next time I will get at least three.
