This was awful. The skin of the chicken was very mushy and weird. There wasn't any flavor to anything. Won't make again.

Turned out really flavorful and easy to make. Added 1/3 cup of chicken broth for extra moisture. Think it could use a little acidity (lemon juice) for another depth of flavor. Also used yellow potatoes cut into 1/8ths as I did not have baby potatoes on hand.

This had my whole apartment smelling so good my upstairs neighbors wanted to know what I was cooking! LOL! Easy to make with ingredients I already had in my cabinets! Follow the recipe as directed for a tender, flavorful chicken dinner! Will make again for sure!

Everyone in our family LOVED this -- including our picky toddler! No leftovers! I added a few chopped carrots to the pot to make it a complete one-pot meal and it turned out great. Will make again and again.

I made this, but with a variation.
Instead of the slow cooker, I simply put it in a roasting pan at 400F for 1.5 hours. It came out perfect. The chicken was quite tender and great flavors.

My family loved it and asked me to double the recipe next time. I ended up using boneless thighs since that is what I had on hand, but followed the recipe otherwise! Awesome addition to my rotation.
