- 4 goat (pastured, foreshanks, 1 pound each or lamb shanks)

- 1 onion (large, coarsely chopped)
- 1/2 lb. baby carrots

- 1 1/2 cups coconut milk (I used a frozen 12 ounce package of Hawaiian Sun coconut milk)
- 2 Tbsp. coconut aminos
- 1 Tbsp. fish sauce (Red Boat)
- 2 Tbsp. apple juice (I use Martinelli’s organic apple juice)
- 16 oz. frozen broccoli (bag of)
- basil (optional)
- mint (optional)
- herbs (optional)
- cilantro (optional)
- kosher salt
- ground black pepper (Freshly)
