- 1 green bell pepper (capsicum, seeded and chopped)

- 1 lb. beef sausage (Angus beef or Italian sausage)
- 2 diced tomatoes (14 oz cans, 400 g)
- 1 tomato sauce (24 oz bottle, American,, 700 g Passata for Aussies)
- 1 green chilies (4 oz can, or 120 g jalapeños)
- 2 cubes beef bouillon (crumbled)
- 2 Tbsp. chili powder (adjust to your tastes)
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 3 tsp. ground cumin
- 2 tsp. paprika
- 2 tsp. cocoa powder (adjust to your tastes)
- 1 tsp. onion powder (each, and garlic powder)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 red kidney beans (15 oz can, drained and rinsed, 425 g)
- 1 black beans (15 oz can, drained and rinsed, 425 g)

used spicy Spanish chorizo sausage instead of Italian. five hours in the slow cooker.
