I used this as a base recipe because I used 3 lbs. of meat and added wayyy different seasonings but it ended up amazing! Added rotel, real diced tomatoes, garlic and onion powder, chili beans, and pink sea salt in addition to most of the above.

Reviews were mixed, so I decided to try it for myself...and I found this to be a fairly sub-par chili recipe. The seasoning is off? I found it too bitter, and the only way I found to cut the bitterness was to add sugar. I agree with those who recommend skipping this one. There are lots of other chili recipes out there.

I loved it and the kids who usually don't eat chili, loved it too. It's a keeper for me!!
