I added a few other ingredients after reading some reviews such as paprika and a 1/2 block of cream cheese to enhance the flavor. The flavor was amazing. The tortilla soup was very easy to make and I will definitely make again!!

I absolutely love this recipe and so does my family. With the tortilla strips, cheese, and a healthy amount of Serrano it has a great amount of flavor and heat. I usually add a bit more chicken, but NO MORE than 1.5lbs for the batch. Any more and it starts too much chicken flavor comes through

Delicious!

Easy to make, but bland and too spicy for my taste.. I added some cilantro, avocado, and enchilada sauce to add more depth to the flavor. Next time I make it, I'd add some ground cumin/coriander and lime too.

Yummy indeed. First, I tried it only with cheese and enjoyed it. But then I tried it with guac and chips and the taste went up an octave! I did substitute alittle cayenne for the serrano pepper that i didnt have on hand.

I modified this recipe big time... I tried it when it first finished and found it was too bland for my taste. I added one package of softened cream cheese, 1tsp ground cumin, 1 tsp paprika, black beans and one can of medium enchilada sauce. I let it cook an additional 30 minutes.... lol it turned out great.

It was a simple and delicious meal. I didn't have to change the recipe for once. Definitely would make this again.

This was a solid recipe. It's not to spicy and the leftovers went quickly. I will make it again. I did ot use the tortilla strips and I shredded the chicken by hand.

This recipe was great! I used a can of tomatoes & diced green chilies in place of the diced tomatoes. And I used de-seeded jalepenos in place of the chopped bell peppers. The perfect amount of spice. The whole family loved it.
