- 2 apples (large, just use your favorite)
- 2 tsp. sea salt
- 1/2 yellow onion (peeled and minced)
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 2 Tbsp. coconut oil
- 4 cups broth (I used homemade chicken bone broth but vegetable broth would work too)
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon (OR 3 cinnamon sticks)
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 can full fat coconut milk
