Finally!!! This is what I have been looking for. I have tried many recipes. This one is amazing! For me, raw beans are no question the way to go. It's the sauce they make. To save prep time on this one, I stopped by Mi Tierra and picked up a container of Pico, which allowed me to save time chopping when I got home. Pico has like 6 of the 9 ingredients. Lol. I also sliced up some smoked turkey sausage. I used a combination of methods. First, I cooked all but the sausage in the pressure cooker for two 30-minute cycles. Trial and error. My first time with an Instant Pot. Till the beans where almost perfect. Then added the smoked sausage and finished on the stove top for about an hour. Perfection! Seriously. Thanks. Oh, and Modelo Dark worked just fine.
