aweful. my steak dissenergrated. way too salty. and my slurry did nothing to thicken

I made this recipe for the first time today. I enjoyed it a lot! I made a couple of substitutions/add ons. Instead of using soy sauce, I used Coconut Aminos. This significantly cuts down on the sodium, so if you're someone who is sensitive to sodium, try the Coconut Aminos. I also added zucchini rice and shredded carrots to the white rice to add more vegetables. It was delicious.

A little too much soy. A bit on the sweet side. A bit light on Garlic. Not really what I was looking for even though it was super easy.

I took out the meat after about 7 hours cooking in my slow-cooker on low and it was definitely overdone..it had absorbed a lot of the sauce so definitely didn’t have any issues with it being too runny as another user had said..the sauce was okay, needs more spices/flavour. Not sure that I would make this again.

The sauce never thickened up. i thought that's what the cornstarch was for. It tasted alright but its not "restaurant quality"

My girls enjoyed it but think I may have to cut back on the red pepper flakes as they said it was too spicy ( I don't measure I just add till it looks good enough).

It was so good! Everyone in my family loved it. I didn't change anything about the recipe and it was perfect.
