Turned out great. Itried it with a pork butt too, it was almost as good as the brisket.

Turned out ok but the recipe didn't say what to do with the remaining ingredients that didn't go into the slow cooker. The recipe should include seasoning on the meat. I used a pressure cooker and it was ready in 1 hour.

This came out very very good! I put it in the crockpot the night before and let it cook overnight. Total cook time for a 5 1/2lb brisket was 12hrs. Came out very tender and flavorful!

Loved it! We didn’t have chipotle peppers and I had to use jalapeños instead still turned out delicious

An absolutely delicious sauce and herb mix to put over the meat. I used 3 pound roast and halved ingredients. I used one medium juicy lime and zest. I added 1/2 teaspoon cumin just because I love that Mexican spice. I pulsed everything including the broth in the food processor until onion, garlic and cilantro were finely diced. I also browned meat to add another layer of flavor! Put all in the crock pot on low and I can't wait till 12 hours is up for lunch tomorrow after church!

Amazing!!
I made shredded beef enchiladas with this but can hardly wait to use this recipe in tacos! I used beef chuck roast, and I wasn't sure about the cloves in this recipe so I used half of what it actually called for and it was perfect! My husband raved about it!! Yumm

To the person who wrote that the apple cider made the barbacoa sweet; the recipe calls for apple cider VINEGAR, not apple cider. There's a big difference in those ingredients.

Trying to make it now. The website won't let me get to the rest of the recipe I am halfway there. 😕

I used stew beef because it was what I could get fresh and it turned out really good. Very spicy which is perfect for me but almost too much for the family... almost. I mixed the leftovers with mac and cheese the next day and loved it.
