- 1 cup bbq sauce (– you can use your favorite barbecue sauce)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 20 oz. pineapple rings (in juice canned, plus an extra for garnish. See notes in the recipe card at the bottom of the page)
- 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 4 green onions (sliced, greens and whites)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced, about 1 1/3 tablespoons minced garlic, or 1 1/4 teaspoons garlic powder works also.)
- 32 rolls slider buns
- Hawaiian rolls

- sesame seeds (optional)

- 3 Tbsp. butter (optional)
