I LOVE APPLE BUTTER! So..............when I made this I only cooked it for eight hours, plus I used a crock pot. I t did not need any extra thickening and turned out PERFECT! I love this easy simple recipe and would highly recommend it.

it was amazing had to make a substitution though i used a teaspoon of allspice instead of the nutmeg and clove
