First off, the recipe doesn't include beef or beef substitute, so the title is wrong. I added plant based beef to the recipe. Also I was too skeptical to make the pasta pilaf-style (no scale to measure 500g of pasta, and my gluten free pasta is a different weight than traditional so I worried the water ratio would be off). All those adjustments aside, the recipe was bland and lifeless. Too heavy on onions, not enough sauce and richness.
