- 1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1 tsp. salt
- 2 large eggs (lightly beaten)
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/3 cups white sugar (see note 1)
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil (i used canola)
- 2 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 cup boiling water
- frosting (Ganache, see note 4 & 5)
- 1 cup heavy cream (or thick cream, see note 2)
- 1 1/3 cups semi sweet chocolate chips (see note 3)
