- 1 tsp. masala (Fish, optional)
- 3/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1/2 Tbsp. ginger (chopped)
- 1 green chili (chopped)
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper
- 1/8 tsp. fenugreek (powder)
- 1/4 tsp. turmeric powder
- 1/2 tsp. salt (or to taste)
- 2 pieces garcinia cambogia (/ brindleberry/ Malabar tamarind/ kudam puli.)
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. coconut oil
- 1/4 tsp. mustard seeds
- 1 sprig curry leaves
- 2 cups water
