This was very good. a couple of things weren't clear. Start off with 5 1/3 cups of unchopped figs or end up with that many? I went with unchopped. I reduced the sugar to 2 1/2 cups, and i had big lemons so i used 1 1/2. It took about 50 minutes to cook down after turning the heat down, and has a string lemony flavor, which i like, but you might reduce if you wanted tge lemon to be more subtle.
