- 2 tsp. salt
- 2 lb. shrimp (uncooked, peeled and deveined)

- 1 pinch cayenne pepper (or a few dashes of extra cayenne if you like it extra spicy)
- 1 lb. andouille sausage (cut into 1/4-inch slices)
- 5 slices bacon (or 1/4 lb Cajun Tasso Ham cut into 1/4-inch slices)
- 1 red bell pepper (chopped)
- 1 orange bell pepper (or yellow, chopped)
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 tsp. minced garlic
- 3 Tbsp. white wine (nice splash to deglaze pan)
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 1 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Louisiana Hot Sauce
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- green onions (for garnish, optional)
- lemon (squeeze of, if you like for the shrimp, optional)

it was very spicy and i love spicy food but this was a bit too spicy for me. overall it was very good.
